2018 will be out 5th festival, and we’re presenting more than we’ve ever done before.

As well as around 25 cask beers and ciders, the prosecco bar will return along with the gin bar too.

Pie and peas, courtesy of Ged Bell, will be available and each night a variety of bands and vocalists will entertain. In between each act, an illusionist and body-language expert will be making his way around too.

In addition to our very welcome and generous sponsors (please see below), we’ve had some raffle prize donations – with the main prize being a beer tour for two with BeerTown Tours.

To date, Coptoberfest has raised over £15,000 for charities and good causes in the Copmanthorpe and surrounding areas.

The main beneficiaries each year are St. Leonards Hospice (Tadcaster Road) and St. Gile’s Church (Copmanthorpe) with a variety of others too.

If you represent a local charity or good cause, please contact us to state your case and the Coptoberfest committee will review each and every request. We can’t say yes to everyone unfortunately, but we certainly do plan to return in 2019 for more fundraising, and great beer of course.
